Library De-Stress Publication
Happy Wednesday! How are you doing today? This week? This quarter so far? We hope you're settling into your classes and getting into the swing of things. This month, the Library will be hosting our first in-person midterms de-stress activity since 2020 (hint: 🐶)!

As always, we're sharing de-stress tips and activities every other Wednesday to help you de-stress and center yourself, regardless of where you are studying from.

Have a de-stress activity or event you'd like to see featured? Suggest it to us at Learningspaces@ucsd.edu. Publications, new and old, and upcoming activities are available on our webpage.
Keep up with the latest UC San Diego Library news and information via our E-newsletter.
LIBRARY SERVICES

Geisel Library and WongAvery Library are open. The main entrance of Geisel Library looks a little different as we are in the process of constructing a better space for you. Library services are temporarily located in the Seuss Room (enter using the West Entrance).

DE-STRESS WITH PUPS

Join us in the Active Learning Lab (next to the Digital Media Lab) on Wednesday April 27, 2022 anytime between 2:30pm to 4pm to relax and de-stress with therapy dogs.

Research shows interaction with animals like dogs and cats reduces the body’s stress response. This event is intended to help reduce student stress and support students’ academic success during midterms. Therapy animals and their handlers will visit the Library to interact with students.

Therapy Fluffies, historically hosted by The Zone during finals week, was the inspiration for this event. Our event will be a collaborative effort with The Zone’s referred partner, Love on a Leash.

Please show the "green thumb" on your Daily Symptom Screener to library staff at the door and wear your mask when interacting with the dogs.
